Link Vault and DigitalPoint Co-op are dead so Don’t waste time on such tools. Also pretty much all kind of reciprocal exchange programs are dead.

Even if they work, the returns over the effort is so low that there is NO point in doing it.

Actually, a lot of Polish webmasters do use these programs (as well as Carramba, among others), and there are results. The question is, how long will they last - how fast will big G be able to outsmart them?

Well as long as you know what you are doing, I think you can use such programs. You need to maintain the fine balance between usability, leverage, effectiveness, time and Money.
